Location: Chattanooga, TN

Job Description:

• Perform x-ray testing including body mechanics and patient movement using knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Operate diagnostic equipment, develop film, and prepare the room with necessary equipment and supplies for procedures.
• Work a rotating 36-40 hour/week schedule, including 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend.
• PRN team members are scheduled on an as-needed basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform timely radiology procedures for evaluation and treatment by attending physicians.
• Conduct necessary quality control procedures to ensure quality exams.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, adhering to clinical and regulatory procedures for patient safety and care, including proper radiation protection and shielding techniques.
• Ensure equipment is in proper working order and report malfunctions to the Area Manager or provider on duty.
• Follow documentation procedures and complete required documentation related to patient visits.
• Maintain and improve diagnostic imaging knowledge and skills with external educational resources.
• Maintain current licensure and certification for facility radiology equipment and licensure.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• ARRT certification
• TN State X-Ray License
• BLS Certification
