Join our dynamic team as an Emergency Medicine Physician at Ascension St. John Medical Center Hospitalist Service. This position offers 24/7 onsite physician support and a collaborative environment with a focus on patient care.
Job Description
- Average daily encounters: 266
- Staffing model includes 144 hours of physician coverage and 33 hours of APP coverage
- EMR: Cerner
- Dedicated nocturnist
- IAC RN support
- Work collaboratively with the Integrated Acute Care team (emergency, critical care, and hospital medicine service lines also managed by USACS)

For CV ICU:
- Seeking a board-certified/board-eligible critical care physician (intensivist) with experience in cardiovascular critical care. St. John's has a very active cardiac/cardiovascular surgery program. The intensivist will lead the team in the ICU to manage the patients. The team also includes experienced dedicated ICU-hospitalists and advanced nurse practitioners available 24 hours/day. USACS Tele-Critical Care will support the night teams with board-certified intensivists.
- Shifts: 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. (12 hours), 14 shifts/month
For MICU/SICU:
- Seeking a board-certified/board-eligible pulmonary/critical care or critical care physician (intensivist) to work as a consultant in the medical and surgical ICU units at Ascension St. John's. The team includes dedicated ICU-hospitalists and advanced nurse practitioners providing coverage 24 hours per day. USACS Tele-Critical Care will support the night teams with board-certified intensivists.
- Shifts: 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. (12 hours), 14 shifts/month
