Join our team at Reston Hospital Center Hospitalist Service, where you will oversee both Reston Hospital Center and StoneSprings Hospital Center. This position offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work in a full-service, 231-bed acute care medical and surgery center.

Job Description

• Daily encounters: 126
• 15 full-time physicians; 6 full-time APPs
• Hospitalists do not perform procedures
• The Lead APP's primary responsibility is to care for patients by building highly reliable, high-performing APP clinicians who are part of the physician-APP team to produce effective outcomes for their patients and the organization.
• The Site Lead APP is responsible for providing leadership of all APP Hospitalist staff at a single hospital.
• Collaborate with the Medical Director, hospitalist physicians, nursing leadership team, and hospital medical staff to ensure the in-patient care delivery model achieves high-quality in-patient care that evolves to match the needs of the patients, the hospital, and the community.
• Accountable for creating an inclusive work environment, providing recognition, performance coaching, and career guidance to the APP team, and creating a pipeline of talent for the organization.
