    Hospitalist APP (Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner)

    Join our dynamic team at Ascension Seton Smithville Hospitalist Service. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a level IV Trauma center serving the Central Texas communities.

    Job Description

    • HM Beds: 7
    • Average Daily Encounters: 5
    • APPs see an average of 2-4 patients per shift
    • Telemedicine physician support, no on-site oversight physician
    • APPs conduct rounding on patients and admissions
    • Staffing Model:
      • 1 Tele-hospitalist physician coverage: 24 hours
      • 1 on-site APP provider hospitalist team: 8-hour shifts (7 am - 7 pm; 7 on/7 off)
