• UT Health Athens is a 127-bed facility, including a 24-hour ED, designated as a Level IV trauma center and Level III stroke center; advanced diagnostic technology; 10-bed ICU; maternity unit radiation therapy center; and a stand-alone ED in Gun Barrel City.

Job Description

• Coordinate and advocate for our patients' care and create an appropriate discharge plan.
• Review patients' charts and meet with families and healthcare providers to establish the most suitable course of action.
• Remain in contact with patients and their families during the hospitalization stay.

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• 2 years prior clinical experience
• Must maintain current Texas RN License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certified

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in inpatient Behavioral Health or home health case-management environment
