    Ultrasound/Echo Tech

    Join our team as a day shift, full-time Ultrasound/Echo Tech in Quitman, TX. You may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000.

    Job Description

    • Perform Echo studies/procedures for patients utilizing ionizing radiation and treatment of disease.
    • Functions under the general supervision of the site supervisor and in cooperation with the cardiovascular team.
    • This position is subject to overtime and call back as required by the hospital.

    Requirements

    • High School graduate or equivalent.
    • Minimum of 1 year of patient care experience.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience performing Echocardiography studies.
    • Echo Registry eligible per ICAEL standards.
    • Echo registered in RDCS or RCS within six (6) months of hire date.
    • CPR Certified Basic Life Support (BLS).
    • Registry in Adult Cardiac Ultrasound.
    • ARDMS or CCI or Registry-Eligible Registered Echocardiography Technologist.

    Preferred Requirements

    • Allied Health degree in Cardiac Ultrasound experience performing Echocardiography studies preferred.
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
    • Registry in Pediatric Cardiac Ultrasound preferred.
