    Job Title: Health Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist

    Job Description:

    • Evaluate and treat patients referred by the Pain Clinic with chronic pain and other pain-related concerns, requiring short-term behavioral interventions.
    • Evaluate and treat patients referred by neurosurgery for brachial plexus pain and functioning-related concerns.
    • Co-facilitate group medical visits (psychoeducation and treatment) for pain management.
    • Conduct spinal cord stimulator and other procedural evaluations for patients awaiting medical procedures.
    • Utilize screening measures to monitor progress and outcomes to assess the benefits of treatment.
    • Collaborate with medical professionals as well as patients to design specific goals for brief treatment.

    Requirements:

    • Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology or related field required.
    • 1 year of post-doc experience in the area of Behavioral Health in a medical setting required.
    • One (1) year of clinical experience or two (2) years of post-doctoral experience in the area of Health Psychology in a medical setting preferred.
    • Licensure or eligible for licensure as a Psychologist in the state of practice. This may include licensing in Wisconsin and other state(s) of practice required.
    • CPR/BLS required.
