    Mobile Crisis Clinician

    The primary function of the Mobile Crisis Clinician (MCC) is to respond as part of the Mobile Crisis Response (MCR) Team in the community to provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment referrals for behavioral health concerns and crises. The MCR program is designed to provide effective and timely care for individuals, including crisis intervention, supportive counseling, and resource connection. The goal of services provided is to allow individuals to remain in the community whenever possible. Assigned duties will occur primarily in the community.

    Job Description

    • Respond as part of the Mobile Crisis Response Team to provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment referrals for behavioral health concerns and crises.
    • Provide crisis intervention, supportive counseling, and resource connection.

    Requirements

    • Master's degree in a human services field with licensing as a Psychologist (LMLP or LCP), Counseling (LPC, LCPC), or Social Work (LMSW, LSCSW, or LSW).
    • Experience with persons with severe and persistent mental illness and/or chemical dependency, and experience working with individuals who are homeless.
    • Reliable transportation with a valid license and auto insurance required.
    • Knowledge of basic computer skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills; ability to be responsible and work independently; ability to maintain flexibility and dependability in work schedule; positive interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
    • Must be 18 years of age or older and able to pass pre-employment background checks (including criminal and child/adult abuse registry checks) and drug screen.
    • Ability to perform the day-to-day physical requirements of the position, including sitting for long periods of time, data entry into various computer software programs, frequently moving around the building and community, and ability to lift up to twenty-five pounds.

    • $26.56 - $38.74 per hour
