    Crisis Stabilization Clinician

    Join our team as a Crisis Stabilization Clinician, where you will assist consumers experiencing a mental health crisis in a crisis residential facility or in the community. This role is crucial for individuals who may be at risk of psychiatric hospitalization without early intervention.

    Job Description

    • Provide daily risk assessments for individuals in crisis to establish appropriate levels of care and continuity of planned services.
    • Offer crisis diversion supports by helping consumers build skills in relapse prevention, symptoms management, medication management, and identifying triggers.
    • Work with consumers individually or provide therapeutic groups focusing on CBT and DBT skills building.
    • Directly supervised by a Team Leader of Crisis Diversion Services.

    Requirements

    • Must meet Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) standards.
    • Experience with persons with severe and persistent mental illness and/or chemical dependency, and experience working with individuals who are homeless.
    • Must pass a KBI security check and DCF Child and Adult Abuse Registry check.
    • Reliable transportation, a valid Kansas driver's license, and current auto insurance are required.
    • Knowledge of basic computer skills, with accuracy and efficient typing skills.
    • Ability to complete required KsTrain online trainings and maintain CEUs for licensure.
    • Must be able to perform day-to-day physical requirements of the position, including data entry, answering the phone, and computer work, as well as lifting up to 25 pounds.
    • Able to work on-call during day, evening, night, overnight, or weekend shifts based on program needs.
