    Job Description:

    • Performs all MRI procedures in accordance with established department policies and procedures to ensure the best possible patient care services are delivered.
    • Reviews radiology exam requests and patient identification to ensure safe, appropriate, and cost-effective imaging.
    • Applies a broad range of skills to ensure the exam is completed timely and meets quality and compliance standards.
    • Provides appropriate MRI screening process to patients, staff, and self according to prescribed safety standards.
    • Assists in the orientation and training of new staff.

    Technical Capabilities:

    • Anatomy & Physiology Knowledge: Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate anatomy and physiology knowledge in practical applications.
    • Radiology: Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate radiology services in practical applications.
    • Patient Documentation: Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate patient documentation in practical applications.
    • Compliance: Can explain and apply basic statutory instructions in normal situations on the job.

    Position Qualifications:

    • Graduate of an approved discipline-specific program
    • 1 year of relevant work experience
    • LIC-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
