Job Description:
- Performs all MRI procedures in accordance with established department policies and procedures to ensure the best possible patient care services are delivered.
- Reviews radiology exam requests and patient identification to ensure safe, appropriate, and cost-effective imaging.
- Applies a broad range of skills to ensure the exam is completed timely and meets quality and compliance standards.
- Provides appropriate MRI screening process to patients, staff, and self according to prescribed safety standards.
- Assists in the orientation and training of new staff.
Technical Capabilities:
- Anatomy & Physiology Knowledge: Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate anatomy and physiology knowledge in practical applications.
- Radiology: Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate radiology services in practical applications.
- Patient Documentation: Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate patient documentation in practical applications.
- Compliance: Can explain and apply basic statutory instructions in normal situations on the job.

Position Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved discipline-specific program
- 1 year of relevant work experience
- LIC-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
