VCA Veterinary Specialists of CT is looking to expand our specialty team! Veterinary Specialists of CT is seeking an Experienced Neurology Technician to join our Specialty Team. Veterinary Specialists is a 24-7 hybrid and specialty referral hospital located in West Hartford, CT. Job Description

• Advanced anesthesia monitoring
• Full technician skill utilization
• Collect patient history and physical exams
• Refill medications and communicate with clients
• Medical calculations
• Venipuncture / IVC placement
• Hands-free radiology (associate safety a top priority)
• Work collaboratively with team members of all hospital services
• Provide compassionate care for all patients

Potential Schedule

Full-time, weekday shifts. Incentivized voluntary on-call shifts.

Compensation

$28 - $35 per hour (based upon skill level and certifications)

This role is suited for a certified technician with at least 2 years of anesthesia experience in a specialty hospital. Neurology experience preferred. Candidates must be positive, able to assist with case flow, support the specialty team with challenging surgical cases, and provide training and support as appropriate.
