To provide superior, compassionate, and innovative clinical care to our patients using state-of-the-art knowledge and resources and to conduct and disseminate clinical research and scholarship, with a focus on the care of patients and education of future clinicians.

Job Description

• Provide clinical services in the hepatology clinics at VCU Health System, including both clinics on the Medical College of Virginia Hospital campus and in outreach locations.
• Participate in the inpatient management of patients with liver conditions and perform diagnostic endoscopic procedures.
• Provide teaching to medical students, residents, and fellows in the management of patients with liver conditions.
• Engage in research and develop interdisciplinary collaborations in support of the core mission.

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Hepatology
• Experience in Hepatology research
• Eligible for Virginia Medical Licensure
• Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU
