    Job Description:

    • Lead a team of informaticists and staff in delivering excellence in electronic health records, achieving clinical operational objectives, and promoting software/product enhancements.
    • Collaborate with the Executive Director to develop short-term and long-term information technology strategic plans and manage the Clinical Informatics initiative.
    • Oversee the Clinical Informatics team providing informatics services to the hospital.
    • Act as a liaison between clinical staff and the IT department, supporting clinical IT systems and practice. Develop coordination between technology environments, IT staff, and application support teams.
    • Partner with clinical vendors to make VVH a model site for their clinical suite of products.
    • Build trust and a reputation of service delivery excellence with physicians, nurses, executives, clinicians, and stakeholders.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree required, master's degree preferred.
    • Current Colorado RN license or current multi-state compact license if an RN candidate. Registered Nurse preferred, but not required.

    Experience:

    • Knowledge of Word Processing, Spreadsheet, Development, Internet, Project Management, Healthcare Informatics, and Database software.
    • At least 5 years of experience in a hospital clinical setting preferred.
