    Non-Invasive Cardiologist

    Job Description

    • Provide outpatient cardiology services at Robbinsdale, Maple Grove, and outreach clinics, managing new and follow-up adult patients. Flexibility to travel among clinics is required.
    • Participate in inpatient cardiology rounding and contribute to the hospital's cardiology team.
    • Share in the non-invasive cardiology call schedule, including weekly night (Q7) and 24-hour weekend coverage.
    • Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiac imaging such as echocardiograms, stress tests, nuclear studies, TEEs, and cardioversions.
    • Consult with patients and their families to develop appropriate treatment plans, ordering necessary diagnostic tests.
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure continuity of care and maintain high standards of patient service.
    • Support emergent cardiac cases, respond to urgent needs, and provide inpatient consults.
    • Supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), stress tests, and cardiac rehab as needed.
    • Engage in procedures including TEE, cardioversion, ECG interpretation, treadmill and chemical stress testing.

    Requirements

    • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
    • Valid DEA license.
    • Current ACLS certification.
    • Ability and willingness to travel between clinic sites and hospital-based locations.
    • Demonstrated expertise in outpatient and inpatient non-invasive cardiology.
    • Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach.

    Schedule & Workload

    • Average outpatient volume of 12-14 patients per day.

    • No direct hospital admissions; handled by hospitalist services.
