Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

In this vital role, you will provide expert anesthesia services across a diverse patient population, supporting high-acuity cases in a dynamic hospital environment. This is an excellent opportunity to impact patient care while working with a collaborative team committed to excellence. We are seeking a highly skilled CRNA to start on May 18, 2026, for a 13-week contract, with the possibility of extension. The position offers full-time schedules with flexible day shifts, typically 4x10s (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM), and requires availability to work four weeks per month. Candidates must be dedicated, professional, and capable of delivering top-tier anesthesia care in a fast-paced, Level 1 Trauma Center setting.

Requirements
- Valid NBCRNA Board Certification
- State license (KY open to licensing)
- Minimum of 1 year of anesthesia experience (no new graduates)
- Proficiency in intubation, central line placement, arterial line placement, and other line insertions
- Ability to work efficiently within a diverse clinical team supported by CRNAs, anesthesiologists, and anesthesia techs
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR system preferred
- Ability to work NORA shifts as required
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience in Orthopedic, Trauma, Vascular, or Neuro anesthesia (excluding cardiac and neonatal cases)
- Advanced procedural skills and familiarity with anesthesia practices for varied adult patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor's or higher degree in nursing (BSN or MSN)
- Demonstrated excellence in anesthesia practice with at least 1 year of relevant clinical experience
Other Requirements
- Must work full-time, supporting a variety of procedures across different departments
- Willingness to obtain KY state licensure and work NORA shifts
- Ability to commit to credentialing process within 90 days
- Valid BLS and ACLS certifications required; additional certifications are a plus
