Job Description

• Description: St Joseph's in Tacoma and St Anthony in Gig Harbor is looking for 1 full-time locum ideally but will consider 2 Hematology/Oncology Physicians for 6 months. Details below! Billing Note: The selected providers will be assigned to the St Anthony job in Gig Harbor for Friday shifts which will be billed separately under its own cost location CL. This position will be formally opened once a provider is selected.
• Rate Caps for Submission: Malpractice must be included in rates. Orientation $300 - half the hourly/callback rate kicks in after 8 hours. Per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours Hourly - $600 - Per hour no OT Holiday Hourly - $900 - Per hour on holiday no OT On Call Daily $4100 - Per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis 24 Hour Holiday Call Rate - $6150 - Per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis Call Back $600 Per hour of patient contact hours after gratis hours are completed gratis prorate to MSA terms. Holiday Call Back $900 Per holiday hour of patient contact hours after gratis hours are completed gratis prorate to MSA terms.
• Schedule/Availability Requirements: Start date: As soon as possible. Shift schedule: Full time 4 days per week: Monday, Wednesday & Thursday at St Joe's. Friday at St Anthony. Off on Tuesday. Night call could be an option for now the site requested we do not focus on that at this time. Weekend Call: Rotating Weekend call. Maximum of 1 in 4 weekends maybe less. Friday PM to Monday AM. Shift time: 8am-5pm Duration: 6 months with an option to extend Facility Location: St Joseph 1717 S J Street Tacoma WA & St Anthony 11511 Canterwood Blvd NW Gig Harbor WA Setting: Hospital Outpatient Department Clinic Inpatient responsibilities at St. Joseph in Tacoma Duties: Standard for specialty FTE: 1.0 Required Procedures: None. Bone marrow aspirations optional. EMR: Epic Support Staff: Standard Reason for Coverage: Bridge to permanent hire Admissions per day Patients/day Types of cases Disclosures that may need to be made etc: Standard. Additional questions answered by the client: How many patients x day? 16-20 What is allotted time per patient in the outpatient clinic for the following appointments: New patient visits? 1 hr Oncology follow-ups? 20 minutes Hematology follow-ups? 20 minutes Will they consider a hematology only doc or does the provider need to be hematology and oncology? Hematology & Oncology. Is BMT/BMB a requirement? No Deal breakers: Travel Preferences: Preferred Lodging: What are you willing to consider? Air Travel: What are you willing to consider? Credentialing Information: Timeframe: 60-90 days.
