    Physician Hospitalist OB/GYN

    We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Obstetrician-Gynecologist Hospitalist to join our dedicated team in the vibrant Seattle area. This is an exceptional opportunity to provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care at renowned facilities, including Swedish Medical Center-First Hill and Swedish Issaquah, known for their commitment to excellence and patient-centered care.

    Job Description

    • Provide comprehensive inpatient OB/GYN care at Swedish Medical Center-First Hill (approximately 6,000 deliveries annually) and Swedish Issaquah (approximately 1,800 deliveries annually).
    • Support labor and delivery units, assisting with both routine and high-risk obstetric cases, including emergencies such as ectopic pregnancies and torsions.
    • Collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine specialists and obstetric teams to develop treatment plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
    • Perform routine gynecological procedures, including diagnostic laparoscopy, supported by the Emergency Department.
    • Participate in academic activities, including teaching OB fellows and residents from obstetrics and family medicine programs, contributing to clinical education.
    • Manage obstetric triage, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and maintain documentation standards.
    • Work a flexible schedule of 6-8 shifts per month, with each shift being 24 hours, promoting a balanced professional and personal life.

    Requirements

    • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
    • Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN.
    • Current licensure to practice medicine in the state of Washington or eligible for licensure.
    • Proven clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology, preferably in a hospital-based setting.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
    • Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and continuous learning.

    • Competitive salary range: $285,120 to $380,160 annually, commensurate with experience and shifts worked.
