Job Description

• Provide exceptional anesthesia services across diverse clinical settings.
• Support both inpatient and outpatient procedures at top-tier facilities.
• Work independently in high-acuity, inpatient surgical cases (ASA 3+ preferred).
• Float between facilities as needed, covering both inpatient and outpatient procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent anesthesiology experience at tertiary care centers.
• Board Certification in Anesthesiology or eligible with fellowship training.
• Current CA State Medical License, DEA registration with Schedule 2/2n, and BLS/ACLS certifications through AHA.
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR.
• Recent experience working solo with minimal supervision.
• Strong regional anesthesia skills are preferred but not mandatory.

Nice to Have Skills

• Regional anesthesia expertise.
• Interest or experience in working with CRNAs.
• Experience with high-acuity cases and diverse surgical procedures.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Anesthesiology residency and fellowship training preferred.
• Recent practice (last 2-3+ years) in a hospital setting with a mix of inpatient and outpatient surgeries.
• Experience working in tertiary or quaternary care environments.

Other Requirements

• Willingness to work day shifts (07:00 - 17:00) on a 5x10-hour schedule, with holiday pay at 1.5x rate for designated holidays.
• Support from CRNAs and floating among sister facilities including Bay Front, Mt. Zion, Mission Bay, Ortho Institute, Parnassus, and Burlingame.
• Ability to commit to a contract length of 26+ weeks, with an anticipated credentialing timeframe of 60-90 days.
• Provide two professional references accessible to the facility.
