Job Description
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in interventional radiology or cardiology.
- Proven proficiency with laser-assisted procedures, PACS, fluoroscopy, and ultrasound imaging.
- Skilled in maintaining and operating advanced vascular equipment including c-arm systems (Philips, Siemens).
- Experience with angioplasty, embolization, endograft placement, IVC filter placement/removal, stent placement, and various angiographic procedures.
- Ability to perform vascular access, sterile technique, and equipment setup.
- Capable of maintaining equipment, inventory, and using system tools such as Pyxis and EPIC.
- Strong ability to monitor accurately, scrub in sterile environments, and support endovascular and open vascular surgeries.
Requirements
- Certifications: ARRT with R&VI or R&CV credentials.
- Nice to Have Skills: Experience with central venous access/port placement, dialysis graft creation/revision, and endovascular interventions.
- Knowledge of vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose).
- Prior experience working within hybrid endovascular suites.
- Ability to handle emergency situations, including storm or disaster response.
- Preferred Education and Experience: Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT R&VI or R&CV preferred).
- At least three years of experience in a fast-paced endovascular or interventional radiology unit.
- Previous travel experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous but not mandatory; local applicants are welcome.
Other Requirements
- The position requires working scheduled shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, four days per week on a 10-hour shift pattern.
- RTO (Return to Office) is limited to a maximum of 7 days; no onsite RTO is permitted post-booking.
- Must participate in call rotations, including one night per week and every third weekend.
- Ability to work during catastrophic events or emergencies; contract staff may be assigned to storm or hurricane teams.
- Compliance with all safety, isolation, and infection control protocols, including sterile technique and use of vascular closure systems.
- Successful completion of a 2-week, 80-hour orientation.
