    Endocrinologist

    UCHealth, in collaboration with our dedicated ENT group, is actively seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Endocrinologist to join our well-established outpatient practice in Pueblo, Colorado. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to deliver high-quality specialized care in a vibrant community known for its stunning Rocky Mountain scenery and abundant outdoor recreational activities.

    Job Description

    • Provide comprehensive outpatient endocrine care focused on adult patients, including management of diabetes, thyroid disorders, and osteoporosis.
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
    • Utilize ultrasound imaging within the clinic to assist in diagnostics and procedures.
    • Manage a busy clinic schedule, seeing approximately 15 patients daily.
    • Work within a modern healthcare environment using the EPIC Electronic Medical Record system across the entire UCHealth network.
    • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and stay updated with advancements in endocrinology.
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of patient education programs; a certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) is in the process of joining the practice.

    Requirements

    • Medical Degree (MD or DO) and successful completion of an accredited Endocrinology fellowship.
    • Board Certification or eligibility in Endocrinology by the ABIM or equivalent.
    • Prior outpatient clinical experience preferred, especially in diabetes, thyroid, and osteoporosis management.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care.
    • Eligibility for medical licensure in Colorado.
    • Interested in permanent employment; we are not accepting locum or visa candidates.
