    Internal Medicine Physician

    Job Description

    Requirements

    • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
    • Valid state's medical license and board certification in Internal Medicine
    • Proven experience or strong interest in primary care practice
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

    Nice to Have Skills

    • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
    • Additional certifications such as ACLS or BLS
    • Experience managing chronic conditions like diabetes or endocrine disorders
    • Familiarity with hospital or outpatient clinic workflows

    Preferred Education and Experience

    • Completion of a Residency in Internal Medicine
    • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a primary care setting
    • Prior experience working in a community healthcare environment

    Other Requirements

    • Availability to start ASAP post-credentialing
    • Willingness to work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with patient-facing hours and in-basket message coverage
    • Capacity to see approximately 16 patients per day
    • Ability to adapt to a team environment and utilize on-site resources such as labs, pharmacy, dietitians, and specialty services like GI and Endocrinology
