    Brattleboro Memorial Hospital, a community-oriented, not-for-profit healthcare facility in scenic southern Vermont, is actively recruiting a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible Urologist to join our dedicated team.     Job Description

    • Deliver comprehensive urological care to adult and pediatric patients across outpatient and inpatient settings.
    • Perform surgical procedures in our state-of-the-art operating rooms.
    • Conduct hospital consultations and manage urological emergencies within the emergency department.
    • Provide outpatient care in a single-site practice, collaborating closely with an established urologist and a nurse practitioner.
    • Participate in a light on-call rotation, covering one hospital site for approximately 7 days per month on a 1:4 schedule.
    • Manage an average of 14-16 patients daily, emphasizing patient-centered, high-quality care.
    • Support departmental continuity through active engagement and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
    • This role does not involve trauma surgeries or robotic procedures.

    Requirements

    • Board-certified or board-eligible in Urology; candidates with lapse in certification may be considered if willing to recertify.
    • Hold a valid DEA license; current BLS certification required.
    • Open to recent medical school graduates and experienced providers.
    • Candidates must be committed to a full-time Monday through Friday schedule, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
    • Long-distance commuters and those seeking alternative shift arrangements are not suitable for this position.
