Job Description

• The Nurse Manager is accountable for the management and leadership of a specific nursing unit.
• This position evaluates available resources and delegates appropriately to assure quality outcomes of care.
• They also direct and implement the nursing process. This includes systematic data collection, assessment, development of care plan, implementation of care plan, and revision of plan.
• The Nurse Manager manages and supervises the care of residents through a well-defined care delivery system.

Requirements

• Must have current registration as a Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota.
• Must have successfully completed or seek certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and emergency care for the health care provider.
• Must possess the ability to communicate verbally and in writing when directing the care of residents.
