Cardiovascular Thoracic Advanced Practitioner

We are currently seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Thoracic Advanced Practitioner for a permanent, full-time opening in one of the largest hospitals in Florida.

Job Description

• Physician Assistant-Card, Vasc, Thorac
• Practice is one of only two in the county and longest established
• Experience in vein harvest preferred
• Work with 2 CVT Surgeons and 2-4 APPs
• Shift and call; shifts are 6:00 am - 2:30 pm every day, seven days a week
• Depending on volumes when scheduled to work on a weekend, given day off during the week so aren’t working 7 days in a row
• Call 1:2/week (starts at 2:30 pm) Call 1:3/weekends (starts at 2:30 pm)
• Average number of floor patients/day 8-10
• Average number of procedure patients/day 2-3 (per surgeon)
