Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PET Preferred) Direct Hire
Innova Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our busy and dynamic office. Preference will be given to candidates with PET (Positron Emission Tomography) experience, but we are willing to provide training for the right candidate without PET expertise.
Job Description:
- Calculate, measure, and record dosages and pharmaceuticals administered to patients.
- Explain procedures, safety precautions, and expectations to patients to ensure their understanding and comfort.
- Acquire, process, and produce diagnostic results for physician interpretation.
- Maintain, calibrate, and perform quality assurance (QA) checks on all nuclear medicine equipment to ensure optimal functionality and compliance.
Requirements:
- Certification: Must have NMT CB or ARRT (N) Certification.
- Preferred Certification: PET studies and PET-specific certification.
- Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and practices.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
