Cardiovascular Sonographer

Job Description:

• Perform echocardiograms and various vascular studies of patient's anatomy/physiology and pathophysiology.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using ultrasound equipment to visualize and record quality images of cardiovascular system structures according to established guidelines and departmental policies.

Requirements:

• Licensure: Registered Vascular Technologist or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer required, or Registered Vascular Specialist or Registered Cardiac Sonographer required.
• Basic Life Support required.

Education:

• Graduate Cardiac Ultrasound and Graduate Peripheral Vascular Ultrasound required.
• And/or Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Sonography required, or equivalent education and experience.

Experience:

• 1 year of clinical ultrasound experience required.
