Family Practice - Without OB Physician

General Medicine Provider

Job Description:

• Perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments
• Work within provider's own office locations:
  • Lebanon: 1 day per week needed
  • Lincoln: 1 day per week needed
• Travel and perform exams at VES leased facility or schedule Veterans within your own practice
• Option to work half days (4-hours) or full days (8-hours)
• Conduct one-time non-treatment exams with a focus on interview-based assessments and physical assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing
• No prescribing or treatment involved
• Quick credentialing and onboarding process
• Required to use Goniometer
• Complete evaluations in VES's provider portal
• Record review and follow-up administrative work required

Requirements:

• Must be within 50 miles of location
• Providers must have their own office
• Accepting specialties in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine
• Proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions
• Own personal laptop (no Mac/Apple products)
• Familiar with musculoskeletal, diabetes, and cardiovascular conditions
• Active and unrestricted full license
• Willing to complete DMA training for certification
• Board Certified

Professional Development:

• DMA certification available, can earn CME credits
• Training provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs)
