Location: Omaha, NE (Immanuel Hospital, CUMC Bergan) + Council Bluffs, IA (Mercy Hospital)

Job Description:

• Provide call coverage for OB/GYN
• Comfortable with all OB/GYN procedures
• Covering Ob-Gyn Call for three facilities including consults, delivery, rounding (including rounds with fellows), minor/major gynecologic surgeries
• Include covering a practice as well as unassigned Ob-Gyn call
• Back up CNMs and Family Medicine w/ OB providers

Schedule/Availability Requirements:

• Start date: Jan 27
• Services provided on OB/GYN on a 24/7 basis for two weekends per month Friday 8am to Monday 8am for Call Coverage
• Average 6 days per month

Setting:

• L&D, PP, GYN Emergency/ORs

Requirements:

• Board Certification: BC OBGYN
• State License: NE and IA License Preferred, IMLC ok
• Residency Requirements: Ob-Gyn Residency Required
• Other Certifications: BLS, DEA
• Malpractice: Clean Preferred

Technical Details:

• EMR: EPIC

Support Staff:

• N/A L&D and OR Nursing
• Work with CNMs (backing up CNMs and being on standby for labor or nearby for recommendations on labor progression)

• Admissions per day, Patients/day, Types of cases, Disclosures that may need to be made, etc., can vary based on day.
