Physical Therapist

This is a part-time position working 32 hours per week, Dayshift. This position may be scheduled at both the Hospital and Rehab Facility. Flexibility is key as off-shift hours could be required. The Physical Therapist reports to the Director of Rehabilitation Services.

Job Description

• Evaluates patients, and then develops and implements an effective physical therapy program.
• Reviews orders for physical therapy.
• Interviews patients; evaluates patient's physical condition and needs.
• Develops a program of corrective exercise and treatment for assigned patients.
• Recommends modification or changes in the patient's program based on own evaluation of progress and interpretation of significant findings.
• Maintains department policies, procedures, objectives, and quality assurance program.
• Proficient with electronic documentation/typing.
• Able to safely provide physical therapy and assist with lifting and transferring patients.
• Ensures safety, environmental control, and infection control processes are maintained.
• Assists in care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A valid Ohio physical therapy license
• Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy
• Current CPR certification
