    Job Description:

    • Manage and supervise nursing staff and operations to ensure appropriate healthcare services for patients.
    • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing (DON) and healthcare team to oversee and implement nursing policies and procedures.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supervise nursing staff, including conducting performance reviews, hiring, and disciplinary actions.
    • Evaluate patient care quality and implement improvement initiatives in collaboration with Nurse Managers and DON.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organization policies and procedures.
    • Participate in policy and procedure development and hospital-wide employee orientations.
    • Provide professional nursing care as needed to respond to workload demands or staffing shortages.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    • Education:

      • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
      • Master's degree preferred.
    • Experience:

      • Three (3) years' experience in a psychiatric inpatient setting with an additional two (2) years of supervisory experience.
      • Two (2) years of post-licensure clinical nursing experience working exclusively with individuals diagnosed with mental illness or multiple disabilities.
      • Knowledge of regulatory agencies including The Joint Commission, DHSS, Centers for Medicaid/Medicare Services is preferred.
    • Licenses/Certifications:

      • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state of employment.
