Key Responsibilities:
- Under RN supervision, assess patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions in both the Health Care Unit and housing units
- Implement treatment programs directed by Health Care Practitioners, administer medications, including IV therapy (if certified), and perform diagnostic tests
- Collaborate in controlled substance counts at the beginning of each shift, adhere to safety techniques, procedures, and standard precautions
- Assist in medical or minor surgical procedures, implement nutrition and therapeutic diet plans, and document nursing encounters using SOAP charting
- Attend mandatory staff meetings and training sessions, demonstrating a commitment to continuous professional development
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience
- Have and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse within the state of employment
- Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification
