Job Description
- Provide direct clinical and consultation services in accordance with policies, procedures, and ethical standards of relevant professional organizations (e.g., NASW, APA).
- Conduct individual and group psychotherapy/counseling to reduce maladaptive behavior and enhance psychological functioning, and offer crisis intervention services as needed, including consultation and referrals.
- Complete Clinical Service Reports and diagnostic evaluations, including psychological testing and reporting, ensuring timely and professional documentation.
- Offer consultation services to institutional screening committees and staff regarding mental status and management of persons served, and support institutional psychiatric staff.
- Participate in staff meetings, in-service training, specialized clinical services, program development activities, and maintain accountability through accurate documentation and the Quality Improvement program.
Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Master's degree in a behavioral/social science field from an accredited college or university.

Experience: Coursework and professional experience that indicates knowledge of mental health counseling, group and individual psychotherapy, diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders, psychological assessment techniques, crisis intervention, and mental health consultation. Must be willing to travel up to 100% of the time.

Licenses/Certifications: LMSW, LPC, or similar licensure in the state from the appropriate state licensing board; must maintain CPR certification and any other certifications (such as First Aid) required. Must be independently licensed, willing to travel, and obtain licensure in MD, NY, NJ, and PA.
