Gynecologic Oncologist
Join our team in providing clinical and administrative services involving primary medical care to patients in a gynecologic oncology practice setting.
Job Description
- Maintain a private practice at a location(s) within the Medical Group.
- Provide gynecologic oncology practice medical professional services to patients.
- Provide in-hospital patient care and consultations as required.
- Participate in Medical Staff activities as required and/or as requested.
- Observe the Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of the Hospital and the Medical Staff.
- Demonstrate a commitment to patient, visitor, and staff by complying with all applicable safety regulations; learning the impact of medical errors and methodology that will lead to reduction of errors; reporting actual and potential errors, as well as hazardous conditions; identifying opportunities to standardize processes and "error proof" systems that will lead to increased safety; and participating in safety education programs and root cause analyses as required.
- Provide outstanding service to all customers; foster teamwork; and practice fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.
- Perform other related duties as identified.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) required.
- Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon upon hire required or Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine upon hire required.
- Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or board eligible upon hire required.
- Completion of an OB/GYN residency and Gynecologic Fellowship upon hire required.
