Advanced Practice Provider - Substance Use Disorder Unit

Job Description

• The clinician will be the primary advanced practice provider for patients on the SUD unit
• Review ED notes regarding medical clearance
• Assess patients for SUD and related medical issues
• Coordinate care of SUD patients, under the supervision of the Medical Director
• Ensure appropriate adherence to established SUD protocols
• Obtain specific substance use history and prior substance use treatment
• Review and evaluate appropriate use of medication-supported treatment
• Provide client education and screening for SUD-related infectious issues
