Job Description:

Facility seeking Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians for 24-hour Emergency Department (ED) coverage
Ongoing position requiring no gaps in coverage
Facility operates on two 12-hour shifts daily
Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) provide support from 10 AM to 10 PM

Position Details:

Schedule: 24-hour ED provider coverage with two providers working 12-hour shifts per day (6 AM to 6 PM; 6 PM to 6 AM)
Start Date: November 20, 6 AM
Setting: Rural, Critical Access Hospital (CAH)
Average Patient Volume: 50-60 per day
Case Types: Trauma, stroke, general ED cases
Support Staff: APP and nursing support

Requirements:

Board Certification: Required in Emergency Medicine
License: Active ND license or IMLC (LOQ in hand)
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, DEA, ATLS required
Experience: Clean malpractice and background history highly preferred
EMR System: Meditech

Credentialing timeframe is approximately 30 days
