Gastroenterology Physician

Location: Woodland, CA

Job Description:

• Facility is urgently seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to provide coverage for 6 months to a year.
• The position is primarily outpatient, focusing on clinic visits and GI-related procedures such as colonoscopies and endoscopies.
• The clinician will be responsible for providing consultative and follow-up care in the ambulatory clinic and performing procedures 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Work Hours:
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Duties:
  • Perform standard GI procedures, including colonoscopy and endoscopy.
  • Provide consultative and follow-up care in the ambulatory clinic.
  • Manage a patient load of 16-20 patients per day in the clinic and 8-10 procedures per day in the outpatient center.
• Call:
  • Some call coverage may be required, but the primary need is for clinic and procedures.

Requirements:

• Board Status:
  • Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Licensure:
  • Active California medical license is required.
• Experience:
  • Gastroenterology Fellowship is highly preferred.
  • Clean malpractice history is strongly preferred.
