Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)

Join our team at Masconomet Healthcare Center as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA). We offer both part-time and full-time hours with various shifts available, including 6:45 am-3:15 pm, 2:45 pm-11:15 pm, and 11 pm-7 am. Additional differentials are provided for nights and weekends, and per diem positions are also available at $22 or $25 per hour.

Job Description

• Provide exceptional resident care including, but not limited to:
• Identify special resident problems and changes in condition and report them immediately to supervisor
• Bathe, neatly dress, and undress residents
• Groom residents including shaving, hair, and fingernail care
• Accurately record percentage of resident food and fluid intake
• Feed residents according to care plan(s)
• Monitor meal trays
• Answer call lights timely
• Deliver and remove resident meal trays
• Pull up side rails and roll down beds
• Change incontinent residents
• Take residents to the bathroom every 2 hours or as requested
• Complete tub baths, showers, or bed baths
• Turn and reposition all bed and chair residents every 2 hours including but not limited to pulling up in bed
• Empty and record all urinary drainage units
• Assist nurse with treatment procedures
• Change bed linens on occupied and unoccupied beds
• Take, record, and report weights of residents
• Inspect resident skin condition with daily care and report to the supervisor

Requirements

• Minimum 10th grade education; High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Must be at least 16 years old
• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Massachusetts and have an active license
