**Job Description**

The Summer Nurse Intern position is for nursing students generally between their junior and senior years of an accredited BSN or MSN nursing program. The Summer Nurse Intern will be expected to participate in a 10-week summer program designed to help them prepare for a career as a nurse. The program has two components.

- Component 1: includes working on an assigned patient care unit caring for multiple patients in the role of unlicensed assistant personnel (PCT). In the clinical setting, the Summer Nurse Intern assists the Patient Care team in the provision of basic daily care to patients and support of significant others. Performs various service duties and routine technical tasks such as assisting patients with basic hygiene and daily living activities. Maintains patient care areas in a clean and orderly condition. **Job Description**

The Post-Doctoral Fellow will assess and treat patients with physical disability due to traumatic injuries or illnesses to assist patients in dealing with emotional reactions to their disability. The post-doctoral fellow will have the option to train in a variety of settings including a major rotation in acute inpatient rehabilitation, with minor rotations in our Day Rehabilitation program, Pain Management Center, Functional Movement Disorder Clinic, and Outpatient Neuropsychology. Within these settings, the post-doctoral fellow obtains patient case history and conducts initial psychological assessments. As clinically indicated, the post-doctoral fellow provides psychotherapy services for individuals, families, and within groups. The post-doctoral fellow additionally provides capacity evaluations, behavioral management plans, co-treatments, and suicide assessments, as needed. The post-doctoral fellow acts as an integral part of the treatment team for their designated rotation.

**Clinical Responsibilities**

- Interview patients, families, and other appropriate personnel to obtain information regarding the patient's personal, medical, psychiatric, substance use, and social history.
- Conduct psychological and/or neuropsychological evaluations.
- Provide consultation and therapeutic intervention for individuals, families, and groups.
