Join our team for a locum tenens position in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at a facility located in Petoskey, MI. This role offers an opportunity to provide supplemental coverage in an inpatient setting.

**Job Description**

- Provide clinical care and call coverage from December 9, 2024, to September 1, 2025
- Work schedule: 8 AM to 5 PM with night and weekend call coverage (5 PM to 8 AM and 24-hour coverage on weekends)
- Manage a patient volume of 10-14
- Collaborate with support staff and hospitalists
- Required procedures and duties include:
  - PAPE/H & P, stroke management, amputations
  - Discharge summary and medication reconciliation
  - Care plan meetings and weekly care plan documentation
  - Pre-admission screening review and documentation per CMS guidelines
  - Prescribing narcotics and conducting daily patient face-to-face acute consultations
- Access to lab, radiology, and procedure room onsite
- Department has 14 beds
- Utilize Cerner EMR

**Requirements**

- Active Michigan license
- Board certified
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Local candidates preferred
- Must be available for the specified coverage dates
- Clean record
