RN Registered Nurse, PRN

The Eden School is currently seeking a full time School Nurse to provide medical support and training to school staff as it relates to the medical needs of the students; maintain files and provide nursing care within our private school for students ages 3-21 with autism spectrum disorder. Primary Responsibilities Administer medication/treatment when necessary for students that attend school according to district boards of education policy. Physical assessment of every student to determine wellness. Care for sick and injured pupils and arrange for appropriate course of action. Assist with physical examinations for: (a) sports participants, (b) working paper applicants, (c) child study team referrals. Maintain student health records, including medication history. Maintain record of annual physical examinations for all employees. Assist with annual Blood Borne Pathogens in-service Maintain appropriate first aid supplies in the school building and in the vans. Conduct CPR training for staff as needed Annually conduct audiometric screenings for all students in conjunction with the Speech and Language Department.
