Services provided as crisis stabilization and can be intensive.   - Provides assessment and counseling to children, families, and/or groups with behavioral, emotional mental health, and/or substance use needs.
  - Services include crisis stabilization, intake, clinical services, assessment, and consultation with the sending school/community partner.
  - Facilitates referrals and communication between agencies on behalf of the child.
  - Attends team meetings to plan and monitor services.
  
- **Case Management / Service Coordination:**
  - Provides ongoing supportive and case management functions according to treatment plans to help clients achieve their goals.
  - Makes home visits to support families and facilitates communication between agencies.
  - Coordinates with the assigned case manager.

- **Consultation/Education Services:**
  - Provides consultation services to teachers, school personnel, and community partners.
  - Offers consultation and support to staff.

- **Clinical Record Keeping:**
  - Responsible for all required written documentation adhering to UCS recordkeeping requirements.
  - Completes time sheets and other paperwork daily.
  - Ensures documentation meets all funded regulatory requirements, including Medicaid/Medicare and third-party standards.

- **Administrative:**
  - Collaborates and attends necessary UCS, SVMC, and school meetings to promote coordination and communication.
  - Meets regularly with assigned supervisor.
  - Completes required agency training.

**Qualifications:**

- **Educational/Experience/Credential Requirements:**
  - Master's Degree in a relevant human service field.
  - Experience providing counseling services to families and children.
  - Interest in providing Trauma Based Intervention.
  - Licensure or on track for licensure in Vermont as a Social Worker, Psychologist, or Mental Health Professional required.

- **Skills:**
  - Knowledgeable or willing to train in evidence-based models including:
    - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
    - Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT) for ages 8-13
    - Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC), including use of sensory tools
    - Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)
    - Zero Suicide

- **License Required:**
  - Valid Driver's License
