    ChristianaCare's Imaging Department is currently recruiting for a Part-Time MRI Technologist to work during the midnight shift.

    Job Description:

    • Performs MRI procedures as defined by departmental protocols
    • Performs duties in RIS, HIS, and Intergy computer systems and accurately enters patient data
    • Completes transmission of optimum quality images to PACS system
    • Ensures adequate history of patient is obtained and documented
    • Performs QC and is able to digitize films
    • Provides superior customer service to patients, family members, and all members of the health care team
    • Performs assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices
    • Demonstrates skills and knowledge necessary to provide care appropriate to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients

    Requirements:

    • Completion of ARRT registry required. (Successful completion of the MRI Registry exam is a job requirement. A technologist who is recruited and non-certified in MRI will have a grace period of 2 years following hire to pass this exam)
    • Completion of a 2-year associate degree program in Radiology
    • 2 years' experience as an MRI Technologist preferred
    • Experience with Siemens products preferred
