Primary Care Physician

Location: Flushing, Queens, New York

Job Description:

• Full-time position with a flexible schedule
• No on-call, nights, or weekends
• Provide a full scope of primary care services including diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care, and health maintenance for adult patients
• Review patient histories and perform physical examinations
• Evaluate, diagnose, and provide appropriate treatment and patient care
• Refer patients to specialists as needed
• Provide quality clinical diagnostic skills in the delivery of patient care
• Review all test results and recommend suitable management for patients
• Prescribe medications
• Formulate ongoing treatment and disease management plans
• Provide relationship-centered care, considering psychosocial and physical needs
• Collect and record patient information, such as histories, reports, and examination results
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records
• Communicate effectively with the clinical team to ensure total delivery of quality care
• Participate in medical staff educational programs and meetings
• Patients per day vary based on provider preference and types of appointments scheduled
• All visits are prepped and supported by dedicated clinical assistants
• Utilizes the Epic EHR system

Requirements:

• New York medical license
• DEA certification
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• 1+ year experience preferred, recent graduates considered individually
• Must speak Spanish fluently

Compensation:

• $225,000 to $260,000 base salary, depending on experience
• Sign-on bonus
