    CHI Health-Creighton University School of Medicine is actively seeking a Pulmonary Critical Care physician to enhance our team in Omaha, Nebraska. This role is perfect for a physician passionate about delivering patient care and teaching multiple levels of learners at our academic medical center.

    Job Description:

    • Provide Inpatient/Outpatient Pulmonary Critical Care services to our Omaha network hospitals including Creighton University Bergan-Mercy Medical Center, a Level 1 trauma tertiary medical center with 24-hour in-house hospitalist coverage and robust surgical services.
    • Exciting opportunity to work with a team of physicians and advanced practice clinicians in an academic medical facility. Regional and national collaboration to advance evidence-based practices.
    • System with an extensive, established primary care network of 250+ providers.
    • Full spectrum ICU services including ECMO program and eICU services.
    • Collegial department and excellent work-life balance.
    • Interventional Pulmonary Service with Robotic Navigational Bronchoscopy and full spectrum of airway and pleural interventions.
    • Accredited Sleep Lab.

    Teaching and Mentorship:

    • Teaching and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows.
    • Fellowship program for Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine with plan for Sleep Medicine fellowship in 2026.
    • Academic appointment with Creighton University School of Medicine, rank commensurate with level of experience.
    • Educational environment includes weekly fellowship conferences, grand rounds, and fellow didactic sessions.
    • Active clinical research program with ample opportunities through CHI Health and Creighton University.

    Responsibilities:

    • Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
