General Surgeon

Location: Ringgold, Georgia

Job Description:

• Utilize a broad range of general surgical procedure skills to provide a wide range of patient care surgery services
• Work as a fully integrated member of the General Surgery team
• Support the launch and growth of the expansion site
• Full-time position with a Monday through Friday schedule

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat various medical conditions
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
• Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and perform procedures as needed
• Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice
• Participate in ongoing medical education and training

Qualifications:

• Board-certified/eligible in General Surgery
• License to practice in the states of Georgia and Tennessee
• PALS, BLS, ACLS certifications
• Unrestricted license to practice in GA and TN, and DEA and NPI for both states
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
