Physiatrist Contract

Physiatrist / Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist

Job Description:

• Serve as an independent contractor at Concentra for approximately a 4-hour shift on a weekly or biweekly basis.
• Work collaboratively with medical and therapy providers to manage medically complex patients.
• Provide specialist services, which may include EMGs and NCS, for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work-related injuries.
• Communicate with employers and take an active role in case management.

Responsibilities:

• Work half a day per week or biweekly.
• Offer flexible scheduling that considers your private practice.

Qualifications:

• Preferred experience in treating patients with work-related injuries.
• Licensure requirements of the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program of an accredited university.
• Unrestricted DEA license for the state of jurisdiction.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
• Must have Medical Malpractice Insurance which will cover you while on site.
