    Urgent Care Medical Director

    Job Description

    • Spend the majority of your time clinically treating patients while focusing on recruiting, business metrics, patient/client happiness, and center management.
    • Provide direct patient care, leading by example, and creating an exceptional patient experience.
    • Provide leadership in healthcare management to ensure day-to-day execution of the medical model, collaborating with therapists and specialists to drive optimal clinical outcomes and case closure.
    • Manage clinicians and support staff while complying with APC supervisory requirements.
    • Create a professional and collaborative working environment.
    • Work with leaders to identify and implement changes to ensure continuous medical clinic improvement.
    • Maintain relationships with center clients and payers.
    • Work with the medical clinic leadership team to manage clinical and support staffing levels.
    • Promote, cultivate, and exemplify Concentra values for all clinic colleagues.
    • Foster an environment of collaboration, professionalism, patient/colleague safety, quality care, continuous improvement, and reward and recognition.
    • Possess financial awareness and provide input to the clinic budget and key business metrics.

    Requirements

    • Active and unrestricted medical license.
    • Unrestricted DEA license and dispensing license for the state of jurisdiction (required prior to start date).
    • Must be eligible to participate in Medicare.
    • Board Certification or Eligibility in an ABMS or AOA recognized specialty preferred.
    • FMCSA NRCME certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

    This position is eligible to earn a base compensation rate in the range of $248,000.00 to $296,000.00 depending on job-related factors as permitted by applicable law, such as level of experience, geographic location where the work is performed, and/or seniority.
