Urgent Care Medical Director

Job Description
- Spend the majority of your time clinically treating patients while focusing on recruiting, business metrics, patient/client happiness, and center management.
- Provide direct patient care, leading by example, and creating an exceptional patient experience.
- Provide leadership in healthcare management to ensure day-to-day execution of the medical model, collaborating with therapists and specialists to drive optimal clinical outcomes and case closure.
- Manage clinicians and support staff while complying with APC supervisory requirements.
- Create a professional and collaborative working environment.
- Work with leaders to identify and implement changes to ensure continuous medical clinic improvement.
- Maintain relationships with center clients and payers.
- Work with the medical clinic leadership team to manage clinical and support staffing levels.
- Promote, cultivate, and exemplify Concentra values for all clinic colleagues.
- Foster an environment of collaboration, professionalism, patient/colleague safety, quality care, continuous improvement, and reward and recognition.
- Possess financial awareness and provide input to the clinic budget and key business metrics.
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted medical license.
- Unrestricted DEA license and dispensing license for the state of jurisdiction (required prior to start date).
- Must be eligible to participate in Medicare.
- Board Certification or Eligibility in an ABMS or AOA recognized specialty preferred.
- FMCSA NRCME certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

This position is eligible to earn a base compensation rate in the range of $248,000.00 to $296,000.00 depending on job-related factors as permitted by applicable law, such as level of experience, geographic location where the work is performed, and/or seniority.
