Job Description:

Single ED physician covers 24-hour shifts
Average patient volume is 21 per 24-hour shift
Vast majority of the patients are Level 3, 4, or 5 (72%)
Primary care coverage of inpatient care 24/7
Effective telestroke program well established
Single call to Medical Access Center for transfers/physician consultation
EMR: EPIC
Credentialing timeframe: 2-3 months
Comfortable with rural locations

Requirements:

Board Certified - Required (can accept FM)
Active OR license - Required or IMLC
Clean background, no malpractice - Required
Local candidates, no flights - highly preferred

Start Date: As soon as credentialed (Flexible)
Length/Need: 6 months, possibility to extend
