    Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist I

    ECU Health Chowan Hospital in Edenton is a 25-bed critical access hospital which provides programs and services to 110,000 people in 6 counties. The facility offers medical and surgical services, including intensive care, a specialty care clinic, and a dedicated outpatient surgery area with endoscopy capabilities. A 7-bed emergency department serves approximately 15,000 patients per year, and team members at the facility have access to a telemedicine link with the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University.

    Job Description

    • The Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist I is a member of the diagnostic staff of Radiology Services.
    • The technologist is responsible for the operation of diagnostic and fluoroscopy imaging equipment and for performing examinations.
    • The diagnostic technologist must maintain a high standard of ethics while providing quality patient care.
    • Through proper credentialing, the technologist must be ARRT (R) registered with current certification.

    Requirements

    • High school or equivalent (or higher)
    • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
    • Must have current ARRT (R) registry, or if new graduate obtain registration within 18 months.
    • 0 years of experience as Radiologic/Diagnostic Technologist

    • Primary Shift: Day
    • 7:00am - 3:00pm
    • On Call: Yes
    • Weekends: Rotating
