Join our team as a Locum Correctional Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Panhandle, Florida. This position offers a structured schedule and the opportunity to make a significant impact in a correctional setting.

Job Description

• Schedule: Monday - Friday (8am - 5pm)
• Hours: Monday through Friday
• Patient volume: Approximately 15 - 18 patients per day (this allows for no-shows)
• Typical visits include mental health evaluations, medication compliance checks, and diagnosis
• Certifications required: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Approximate time for credentialing and security clearance: 4-6 weeks
• Start date: ASAP
• Length of assignment: 3 months with potential for longer
• Staffing mix includes MD/DO, RN, LVN, CMA
• EMR system used: Fusion
